Watercolor Art using ‘Color Splash’

Color Splash is a set of 24 watercolor pencils in a super cute tin case. You can add watercolor effects to your coloring by applying a base layer with Color Splash on the paper first and then adding water with a paint brush. The pencils are triangle shaped barrels for easy grip and no rollaway.color_splash_watercolor_pencilsia_coloring3

Here are a few artwork I created using Color Splash

1. Landscape Art – a base layer with Color Splash on the paper watercolorpencil1

2. Blending the colors using a wet paint brush to add watercolor effects

3. Trying different shading effects, blending with two different colors, applying water before and after secondary layers… the final artwork!watercolorpencil4

The sunflower was colored on slightly wet paper. Experimentation is the key to bringing unique effects to your art.watercolorpencil5
