‘Songs of the Sea’ Desk Organizer for Kids

Without proper desk organizers in place, kids study desks can be in such a mess. I was looking for a desk organizer with several different sized compartments to arrange pens, pencils, markers, and other stationery and when I found this wooden decorable organizer at Itsy Bitsy, I didn’t want to give it a miss. wood.JPG

The best part is that one can add their own aesthetic appeal to this organizer. My son loves everything about the beach, so my crafting theme is ‘Songs of the Sea’ and here’s how I went about customizing this wooden decorable.

Supplies used:

Wooden Decorable Table Organizer
Home Decor Chalk Paint – Sailing Sky
Sea shells
Felt Embellishments
Pearl Alphabet Stickers
Pearl Beads
Silicon liquid glue

Here’s the step-by-step process:

1. Begin by applying a coat of blue chalk paint (color: sailing sky)

2. Once dry stick the sea shells and pearl beads using a strong glue.

3. Embellish with embellishments, I’m using ocean themed felt stickers and pearl alphabet stickers.

4. Your personalized desk organizer is ready to use.

Hope you enjoyed this DIY project.

Happy Crafting!
