Autumn (Fall) is a beautiful season for crafting with nature. The colours are warm and vibrant that wipes out the blanket of green from the departing season. The landscape becomes richer, the fruits and food seem riper and tastier and the countryside truly becomes alive. Autumn is a great time to get kids involved in connecting with nature by observing and collecting items found in nature that come in so many different colors, textures, shapes and sizes. There are autumn leaves, acorns, pine cones, bark and sticks to collect and and create some beautiful nature art.
During our recent vacation to the woods, my son and I set out on an early morning autumn discovery walk.
The path was strewn with colorful bougainvillea and yellow leaves
Leaves in so many colors, shapes and sizes.
