3 Easy Peasy Spooky Halloween Crafts

The theme given for the October #CCBG Craft Challenge is Halloween and I am excited to share 3 easy peasy Halloween crafts made from recycled materials.

1. Carton Box Pumpkin

Materials required:

  • An empty cereal box
  • A cardboard tube (for the branch)
  • Orange, Black and Green colored paper (alternately you can use paint)
  • Googly eyes
  • Scissors and Glue

  • Use the green colored paper to wrap the cardboard tube and you can cut pumpkin leaf shapes too. Glue it to the top of the cereal box, as shown in the picture.
  • Stick the orange colored paper to cover the carton box.halloween3
  • Use the black colored paper to cut out shapes for the eyes,mouth and glue it onto the pumpkin.
  • Stick a pair of googly eyes to finish your very own Carton Box Pumpkin.

2. Cardboard tube Bats

Materials required:

  • A cardboard tube
  • Black paint
  • Markers
  • Black paper
  • Googly eyes
  •  Scissors and Glue

  • Paint the cardboard tubes using black paint.
  • Use the black colored paper to cut out shapes for the bat’s wings and glue them to the cardboard tube.
  • Stick a pair of googly eyes and draw highlights using a marker.
  • You now have your very own Cardboard tube Bats.

2. Paper Cup Spiders

Materials required:

  • Paper Cups
  • Paints and a marker
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Googly eyes

  • Paint the cups in colors of your choice.
  • Stick the pipe cleaners for the ‘spider legs’
  • Stick a pair of googly eyes and draw highlights using a marker.
  • You now have your very own Paper Cup Spiders.
